The following maps that show the tracks are the ones detaileds for the races, the ones organisation gave to the participants. Obviously, today there is no checkpoints or places with firewood, except in the laavus, which are permanent shelters.
66 KILOMETERS TRACK
The 66k track is a mixture of snowmobile roads and forest roads. The track also traverse a frozen river and a frozen lake. The track is partially signed with stakes (ex.: Ounasjoki river and Sinettärjärvi lake) and official swomobile track signs.

150 KILOMETERS TRACK
The 150k track is a mixture of trails, forest roads and roads. The track also traverse a frozen river and a couple of frozen lakes. The most of the 150k track runs through private lands, out of official snowmobile tracks, so many many sections have no open track.

300 KILOMETERS TRACK
THE 300k RACE HAVE TWO VERY DIFFERENT SECTIONS:
First section of the track is the same as 150k.
Second section is quite different and it follows an official snowmobile track. There are signs, in some areas more than others. In some areas you could find very good snow conditions and in others maybe could find deep snow and also could find other snowmobiles tracks crossing the official snowmobile track, so those tracks could confuse the right way... Track conditions depends on how long ago snowed and when the last snowmobile went through there.
